Registered Provisional Psychologist

Kate holds a Master of Arts in Counselling and is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. She is passionate about working with clients one-on-one to address their mental health concerns, with particular emphasis on:

  • Healing from Abuse
  • Trauma and PTSD 
  • Anxiety, Depression, and Stress 
  • Codependency  
  • Body acceptance  
  • Gender and Sexuality  
Kate is an LGBTQ+ friendly therapist. She is also a kink-aware and poly-aware therapist, though she only sees clients on an individual basis and does not offer relationship counselling.

Kate believes that the therapeutic space should provide safety, and uses a collaborative model for therapy that draws on several approaches based on the client’s needs and presenting concerns. These approaches include:

  • Internal Family Systems 
  • Narrative Therapy  
  • Somatic and Mindfullness Modalities 
  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) 
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Sessions and Fees:
  • $175/50 minute session (therapy hour)
