Pam Chamberlain, B.Ed., MA
Registered Yoga Teacher
Pam has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and teaching yoga for 10 years. She specializes in teaching Gentle and Plus-Size classes, and was one of the first teachers in Calgary to introduce plus-sized yoga.
Pam approaches and teaches yoga as a life-long practice, and is particularly interested in the ways an individual’s yoga practice evolves as a result of injuries, weight gain, pregnancy, illness, and/or aging.
She invites participants to examine their own patters of movement with the aim of developing more functional movement: this in turn improves mobility, flexibility, and balance.
If you’re new to yoga and a little nervous, Pam is the teacher for you! Pam is patient, compassionate, and encouraging, and always strives to keep the atmosphere of her classes warm and welcoming.
