Shari Derksen, MA

Registered Psychologist 

Shari is a Registered Psychologist/Sexologist offering individual and couple’s therapy that is LGBTQ and poly/lifestyle friendly, focusing on healthy relationships and freedom in sexual expression. She is currently offering in person as well as online sessions via zoom. Shari completed a Bachelor’s of Psychology at the University of Calgary and a Master’s in Counseling Psychology specializing in Holistic Studies at John F. Kennedy University in California. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Human Sexuality at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco and is also working towards Sex Therapist Certification through the American Association of Sex Educators Counselors and Therapists (AASECT). 

Valuing her own personal growth, Shari would be honoured to walk alongside you to help illuminate your path to inner growth and transformation as you find your voice in relationships and freedom in sexual expression. With a background in Holistic Studies, Shari’s approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and integrates body, mind, and spirit.
